I have the 3600 and the 3700 xL

These tackle bags are great. They look great. I love the outside pockets. I love the magnetic top. I love the zippers. I love the color. I love the hard bottom; however when it comes to the tackle box’s inside, they are completely horrible. Whoever designed these things needs to have his head examined so you go to a big pair of scissors no, that won’t work a razor blade. No that won’t work. A knife nope that 1 won’t work. A small pair of scissors from my sewing kit. I can’t believe I found my sewing kit. That’s the only thing that works. These things are attached together.the dividers are and you have to cut them flush with a pair of scissors and then put them in the slide sockets and none of them fit correctly and these things don’t shut correctly either they’re complete honk a junk ; so you have to buy your own tackleboxs; so look forward to spending at least 50 or hundred dollars more to get the right boxes once you customize it it’s a great bag. Yeah these things that come with it are flimsy not made of quality plastic and someone somewhere somehow didn’t get it in quality control. You might as well toss these things in the trashcan. You definitely have to go with some aftermarket tackle boxes but other than that is perfect. Look forward spending some extra money so go ahead and on an extra 60 or $100 to the bag but other than that i I love it

    Great bags, maybe the best.

I went to a Cabela's so I could look at these bags in person and the 3500 is more than enough storage for the average fisherman. The 3600 is a little bulky considering the amount of storage. Both of the 3700's especially the XL are so big most people will struggle to fill them. The rod holders on the 3700xl are a very nice feature that could and should be on all the bags because of how sturdy the bases are. I got the 3500 and it's great. It's small enough to where It's easy to travel with and big enough to hold everything you'd want. The molle straps really allow you to make the bag your own and take it from a great bag to a perfect one for you. I added a pouch to the front to keep all of my big swimbaits in, and my pliers fit very nicely on the big corner straps. Overall these bags are very nice and in terms of quality there's nothing you can really fault them on. If I had to pick one thing to improve, I'd make the magnets on the top a little stronger and bigger. Baits stay on fine, but heavier things like pliers will probably fall off when you open it. Also it's best to shop around for these bags, I found them 10-20% cheaper on sites most people aren't looking at for fishing gear.

Roomy, Rugged, and Boat-Friendly – Perfect Tackle Bag!

The Plano Guide Series 3700 Tackle Bag has quickly become my go-to gear bag for every bass trip. Right out of the gate, I was impressed by how much room this thing has—it swallows up 3700-size boxes, tools, soft plastics, and then some, with space to spare. All the storage is thoughtfully laid out, with external pockets, MOLLE webbing, and tool holders that make staying organized easy on the water.

Despite how much it holds, it’s surprisingly compact and fits perfectly in my bass boat without taking up too much deck space. The molded waterproof base keeps everything dry even on wet days, and the included StowAway boxes are top-notch. I also love the magnetic Dropzone on top—it’s perfect for holding pliers or lures between casts.

Plano really nailed the balance of capacity, durability, and smart features here. If you’re serious about fishing and want a bag that keeps your gear dialed in but doesn’t get in the way, this one’s a winner.
