I bought the heavy duty case which was twenty dollars more than this one here. I had no complaints with that one, so I figured I'd get another that was a different style and hoped it would be similar in quality. That way I could transport two different rifles to the range and know which one was in the case just by looking at the case. NOT SO. The latches are junk and case rigidity not good. I've had the latches completely pop off on several occasions. They are not attached to the top, so when closing the top, if they get bumped, they slide off the hinge pin on the top. If they don't come completely off, the latch will not close all the way and come off while carrying the case. This case is a waste of money unless you just want to store a gun in it and put it in the closet. Spring a few bucks for the next case up in the line and you'll be much happier. That case is a winner. If I didn't already cut the foam in the case so I could close the case, I would have sent it back. I'm very disappointed.
